A lot a practising had taken place between the regional finals and the nationals finals. A few changes had been
made and everyone had worked very hard. We were ready to give it our best shot. _____________________________________________________________________________
British Schools Gymnastics Association's inaugural Trio Competition 2013
10.00a.m. We marched on as part of round 2 to start competing. We started with vault and may have looked a bit
apprehensive at first but our vaults were really good: 14.95/16 for Harry, 14.9/16 for Katherine and 14.65/16 for Mike.
Mike (above) got the highest mark for the Huish Episcopi team on floor.
At the end of the floor and vault sections we were lying 4th (see left), which was excellent! We were beginning to think we might sneak into 3rd if we could manage a really good group routine!
In the event, we did get a higher mark for our group routine than the team lying in 3rd place, but not high enough to overtake them. Next time.......! To see how we got here click here.
